Adjusting Down

If a team leader or administrator superior feels that a worker takes too long to perform a task, there are three choices the superior can make. Firstly, you can contact the worker either through the EYH System's Communication screen, or via another method, and ask the worker to change his or her hours. Secondly, as an administrator, you also have privileges to edit any worker's hours directly and lower the number of hours. Finally, as an administrator, you can adjust the worker's hours downward.

From the client's point of view, the results are the same. Whether the hours are changed via editing, or whether you adjust them downward, the client will still see the same amount on an invoice. However, even though the client is being billed less, the worker will still get paid for the full amount. As the administrator performing the adjustment, the loss will be applied to your account, at a loss equal to the hours adjusted down multiplied by the worker's rate. If you are non-billing administrator, this will not be an issue, which is why we recommend creating at least one non-billing administrator account when you need to apply losses to the company, and not to an individual biller's account. In this scenario, this is associated with a loss for the company.
